Public Health Intern
Public Health InternCollette graduated from Baruch College in 2016 with a BA in Psychology, and is currently studying towards a Masters in Public Health, with a concentration in Community Health.
Collette worked within social work services for 4 years, first as a case planner for Therapeutic Family Foster Care, and then as a care coordinator for the children’s health home program embedded at Mount Sinai Hospital. Currently, Collette manages all research volunteers for The Mount Sinai Hospital, and assist with departmental DEI curriculum planning and training.
"I am passionate about community empowerment, equity and becoming a social change agent. I hope to work towards designing and implementing sustainable community health programs aimed at improving quality of life and well-being for underserved groups."
