Clinical InternKai graduated from Berkeley College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice at which time she realized that she wanted to be an agent of radical change amongst people of color. Upon this realization, Kai enrolled in Mercy College’s mental health counseling program to pursue her master's in Mental Health Counseling.
Kai’s goal is to work with women of color to assist them with finding the tools to help navigate the intersexuality of race and gender in today’s society.
Kai is an advocate for equity amongst marginalized groups and hopes to work towards reducing the stigmas around mental health treatment in black and brown communities.
Kai is passionate about combating Systematic and institutional racism by helping people heal personal and generational trauma. Kai believes that when you introduce the tools necessary to heal you find that hope is nearby.
