Kanika Priya Sethi is a Clinical Intern at the Hope Center and an LMSW Candidate at the Columbia School of Social Work. Prior to her career in social work, Kanika worked as an early childhood educator for over 10 years. Kanika received a Masters’ Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Bank Street College of Education, and a BA in Economics from New York University. In her previous work, Kanika has been an internet based project manager and producer, and worked in publishing at Random House. Kanika’s passion and career goals involve helping people to self-actualize in order to realize their true, authentic power and heal from intergenerational and historic trauma. She hopes to be a catalyst for allowing individuals and society at large to evolve from older notions of relating -- one which power is given and taken – to a new paradigm, where all share our love and power to co-create a beautiful future. Kanika believes that we are all here for a reason, that we can make positive changes, we can live our optimal lives – and that Healing On Purpose and Evolving is entirely possible!
