Racism, Trauma, Grief and the Role of the Church.

New York Theological Seminary, the Center for Complicated Grief (CCG) at the School of Social Work, the Columbia University Wellness Center, Columbia Department of Psychiatry, The HOPE Center Harlem and First Corinthian Baptist Church join to bring this event to the community to address anti-Black racism and mental health as well as the role of the Church in the Black community.

It all takes place Friday, October 15th from 10am – 2pm on Zoom. Guests include Dr. Sidney Hankerson, Sheila Wise Rowe, and the HOPE Center’s very own Dr. Lena L. Green. Pastor Mike is the keynote speaker for the conference. This is a discussion you don’t want to miss. This will be a free event but registration will be required. REGISTER HERE
